Dear CSG Members:

As with all of you, the Connecticut Society of Genealogists has been closely monitoring the potential Covid-19 threat. Social distancing is one recommended way to reduce the risk of contracting the virus. Consequently, following the lead of the New England Historic Genealogical Society and many other organizations, we have decided to be proactive.

CSG has regretfully decided to cancel our March 21 program “The Connecticut-Caribbean Connection” with Sandra Taitt-Eaddy. The program is being rescheduled for Saturday, September 19 at 1:30 p.m.

The CSG Library will be closed to the public for the next two weeks. This means that there will be no Genealogy Help Session on Thursday, March 26. However, as of now we anticipate that the office staff will continue to work their normal hours and will be available to answer telephone calls and respond to emails.

Be sure to check our Website, https://ctfamilyhistory.com/, and follow our posts on Facebook and Twitter for updates on the status of our April 18 program and May 16 Annual Meeting, and other news of the genealogy community.

We’ll do our best to continue to keep you informed about what’s happening at CSG. If you have any questions, please contact us at 860-509-0002 or csginc@csginc.org.
