UPDATES TO THE CSG WEBSITE
We have added the following resources to our website:
For members: if you have a household member, you can now renew them online. It won't give you a place to add your household member's name, but we should have that information here. If you want to add a new household member, that person will need to fill out their own application and either mail or bring it to the CSG Office. To date, only one household member can be renewed. If you have more than one, please contact the CSG Office.
The Connecticut Nutmegger is always looking for well-researched articles. If you have an article to submit, please see our Guidelines for Nutmegger Authors now located under Publications then CT Nutmegger.
Also under Publications is CT Genealogy News. Members may submit up to three (3) queries per issue. There are now instructions for writing queries up under this tab. We also accept articles of a lighter, less scholarly nature for Connecticut Genealogy News. You may find Guidelines for Magazine authors here as well.
Under Genealogy Basics, we have added just about everything that could be found in the New Member Kit and are encouraging new members to find this information here. The CT Public Act that gives genealogists the privilege to access CT vital records may be found here as well as other helpful resources.
We have updated and added may links that we feel are helpful in researching. Some are pay sites or may refer you to a pay site. We do not endorse any, but they are there for your reference.
If you have any questions, please contact the CSG Office.
